Students who have completed the Disability Services (DS) certification process do not need to recertify. However, every semester, students certified with DS need to request their Accommodation Letters for their new classes and instructors. Certified students will use the to request their for the upcoming semester or term.  

Certified students are invited to consult with a DS counselor prior to the start of each semester to review accommodations, courses, workload, and more.

Appointments

To schedule an appointment with a DS staff member, please email DisabilityServices@meredith.edu, send a message using the Messages tab in the , or call (919) 760-8427 and leave a message. Staff will return you call or email between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Appointments may also be scheduled by coming to the DS main office at 208 Student Health & Wellness Center between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Drop-In Problem-Solving Hour

Disability Services offers a drop-in Problem-Solving Hour on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. for students to ask questions, seek support, and begin problem solving. DS counselors see students on a first-come, first-served basis; no appointment is necessary.
